A must do while in Newcastle is the Tram Ride through the city where you can jump on board an old fashioned tram and take in the sights of the city along the way, and maybe even cap off the day with a horse riding adventure for the day afternoon or a lunch or dinner cruise for something really romantic.

The snaking rivers that make their way throughout this part of the region provide every opportunity to spend as much time as possible out on the water, so if you just can’t get enough you can arrange to join in on one of the kayaking or canoeing tours that make their way up and down the river systems.
